"Retorno" é o primeiro EP do produtor e instrumentista Mauricio Avila. Natural de Franca no interior de São Paulo, buscou unir sua paixão pela bateria brasileira, nas síncopes quebradas e nas rítmicas gingadas na tela de um software de produção musical. Um minimalismo calmo, certeiro e com as peças timbradas lindamente como se cada uma tivesse uma vida por si só. O trabalho com delays, espaço e teclas harmônicas também traz suas influências do House, do Dub e do Experimental pra um universo único do produtor.

"Retorno" is the first EP by producer and instrumentalist Mauricio Avila. Born in Franca in the interior of São Paulo, he sought to unite his passion for Brazilian drums in the broken syncopes and the rhythmic swings on the screen of a music production software. A calm, accurate minimalism, with the pieces beautifully stamped as if each one had a life of its own. The work with delays, space and harmonic keys also brings his House, Dub and Experimental influences to the producer's unique universe.
